US13 (9.00mm) Double pointed needles for decreasing crown of hat or use ‘The Magic Loop Method‘ with your circulars.
US J/10 – (6.0mm) crochet hook for bear ears in hat age size: 0-3 months
US K/10½ – (6.50 mm) crochet hook for bear ears in hat age sizes: 3-48 months
Pattern makes hat in baby sizes:
(0-3 months) – 13”-14” head circumference
(3-6 months) – 15”-17” head circumference
(6-12 months) – 17”-18.5” head circumference
(12-24 months) – 18”-20” head circumference
(24-48 months) – 20”-21” head circumference
